Nice inside view from Mr Owen's. Is his son a WR?

Might also play UH Baseball, like Nate Jackson
Re: Chad Owens, Jr commits as an invited walkon
Was Jason Ross a 2 way player as well before quitting football to only play baseball? Or did he quit football to play baseball?
I still remember he was in Right Field forgot why he got mad and either punched or kicked a hole in the fence lol
This is awesome, Nice to see the next generation representing the 808.

Jason-Matthew Sharsh's father is Chad Owen's cousin. So different branch of the bigger tree?Palolo_2LA wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 11:58 am Looks like a playmaker...apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Nice. I like when sons come to play for UH.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

Re: Chad Owens, Jr commits as an invited walkon
Chad Owens has a son old enough to play college ball? poop, I'm getting old, man.
Re: Chad Owens, Jr commits as an invited walkon
Not as twitchy as his old man, but is similar in skillset to John Ursua and Lincoln Victor - high school QB with running ability. Could be a wildcat QB like Calvin Turner. Also was a PG in basketball like Ursua if I recall correctly. Chad is entrusting his son to his college battery mate. Sounds very promising.

My recollection of Ryan Keomaka is that he was fast - track fast. I think he was a 4.4 40 guy.BigWave96744 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 11:56 amChad Owens, Jr's mom (Rena) is Ryan Keomaka's sistercabanalane wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 1:23 pmJason-Matthew Sharsh's father is Chad Owen's cousin. Re: Chad Owens, Jr back on Fall Camp roster
Back on the Fall Camp roster (now listed as #82, his dad's originally assigned PWO jersey number).....after sitting out Spring Ball with a leg injury. Hopefully a good re-start after his 2022 true frosh season (previously listed as #2, his dad's eventual jersey number). Originally was PWO QB back in Spring 2022, but the SB position looks to be a better fit for his skillset (short area quickness).

Some guys hit the transfer portal. Some guys just "disappeared." Braddahood is not for everyone. Give UH Admins for handling it well, whatever that is, whatever that means. They have to.

- Totally agree that "Da Braddahood" is divisive & run its course.
- Based on Special Teams performance in Kick/Punt Returns, when does Coach TC hire CO2 at least as a consultant if not F/T just to work w/the fastest man in NCCAF on the UH team - EON!
