That just mean other guys lower on the depth chart, get chance.

When OIA implemented the 2.0 Pass and Play rule in the 80s, half of our team was gone for 4 weeks. Everyone else get chance to play.

The roster posted on the website in concerning. Hopefully some of these guys can develop and we can add some legit transfer players.

I see that's a good thing for the players meaning if there's more playing time, that can only help their development.

Also many players play multiple positions in HS. For example, Joey Iosefa was recruited as a QB for UH, end up being a beast at RB.

Not the same, but I missed the days of the Power I, with Al Noga and Mark Nua, leading the RB. I think Mark Odom was in the mix too. That line up totally send the statement of "get out of the way, or you are going to get hurt trying to stop this play."

I don't think there will be a shortage of players. Locally, the players that walk on will want to give it there all and play their hearts out to make the team. Which will be about a lot of locals trying out and walk ons. At Spring training.
