Post by Irse »

He's been hurt and hasn't played in a while but was also on the Twitter chat.

Shitty for Cephus as he was a successful WR @Rice prior to being trapped by Jr boys crap offensive scheme.
Be humble and confident in yourself and all things you do. :zook:

Well first he would need to show enough in practice to crack the starting lineup.

If the scheme is dive left then right, you're limited as a WR. I bet during recruiting they said we passing the ball around the yard as we heard a bunch yr 1. TG definitely didn't deliver on his promise of a high octane offense.

Regardless he didn't beat out the other players ahead of him

Cephus had great scrimmages in the spring and fall making a lot of big plays. He would have played more this year but was injured a lot. He missed almost half the season and was the only super senior not to dress for Senior Night.

at some point in your career it is time to go where you can get playing time, get your degree or hang it up. Unless you are an elite player catching on to another team as an upper classman will be very difficult. A prime example is Stovall. Went to Pitt as a Sr and because of a former Warrior coach. Caught on with a very good team but didn't get much playing time. Bigger stage but as a backup rotation player. Dae Dae is a good back and it will depend on where he lands. If he lands at CSU or somewhere in the MWC he could work his way up to a starter. Parson will thrive as our RB. CC will be a backup at best.
