Honestly, it is hard to watch this team

Post by Palolo_2LA »

Here are the issues besides losing -

- impotent offense
- less than special team
- an old school coach that yells his head off
- boring games
- little excitement
- horrible losses
***Nothing has changed strategy wise, which is most alarming***

passing the ball has four outcomes: completion-yards gained; interference, defensive-yards gained, offensive-still your ball; incomplete-still your ball; interception-lose the ball. yet, it is entertaining football to watch if your team gets the completions and ref calls. jones and rolovich understood the need to be entertaining while winning and especially entertaining while losing. pass to open the running game.

if your running game is three and out for several drives in a row, it might be time to switch strategy, especially in the red zone. if your three man defensive front is not producing results it might be time to put a fourth or fifth lineman in. letting linebackers in the backfield without blocking them should be frowned upon.

but, they are our hawaii football team and i will be in the stands saturday cheering them on. the players. and if the coaches change their approach to hawaii's offense, i will cheer for the coaches as well.

I don’t think coach goes this soon. And since it is not going to happen, I think I got to support him for another year. But my choice would be to bring Rolo back and get the offense cranking. Or even June Jones if he will still want to coach at this point for our budget.

I'd rather have Chow as an OC than to bring that clown back.

Yeh, I get it. But, hey I got no problem with Aaron Rogers, Rolovich, or Tulsi Gabbard for that matter. :D I just want to see touchdowns.

I wouldn’t mine if Stuz had a shot at OC.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

Not sure. But wouldn’t the requirement be dropped once the pandemic is over? I would think or hope we would be done in a year.

If Washington state hires a completely different staff next year, I don’t mind seeing Brian smith coming back as OC or have Dan Morrison as OC.

I have no idea what to think of this team. Hard to believe that this is the same team to beat Fresno State, hold San Diego to only 17 points yet they can't beat UNLV. Both sides of the ball is inconsistent, aside from the Kicker and Kickoff Specialist, the special teams unit is a mess...its just a cluster mess of a team.

If you have a QB that can't make the passes and is inconsistent with what he can do it doesn't matter what offense we run and it doesn't matter who the OC is. Your hands are handcuffed.

Unless u have both Schager and cordeiro on the field at the same time and having to burn a timeout or it’s an illegal substitution penalty. That’s the coach!

< 55% has nothing to do with burning timeouts and the wrong personnel on the field. If you can't pass you can't pass. It doesn't matter what the reasons are.

Cordeiro had issues with his contacts. They should have sat him for that one play instead of sending him back on the field.
