I have a feeling it’s not going to be sold out. Majority of People in Hawaii still are not comfortable going out. It’s always empty at the movie theaters and with the vaccine mandate, the attendance is limited.

Agree with your point about people not wanting to go out. I also think interest in football is declining. And not because UH is not doing well. Kids are just not interested in sports like we were back in the old days. Yes, some of us never play HS sports, but we sure dreamed it or played at recess time. I'll say 3,629.

Ballpark 8,000 tickets sold. Only about 6,000 actually in the stands cause somehow people mess up the requirements to get in.

Yeh, I think this involves getting others to go because it is no fun being at a movie theater or football game by oneself. There had to be buy in by other family and friends. $75 too steep for many.

I am thinking they release a few more to students but come up 500 seats empty.

5119 is what is being reported. Nearly entire sections looked available for purchase when I checked the day before. A crime not to hand the tickets out on campus and in the dorms. TV did a good job on capturing students. But 5000 at D1 football is unheard of. Covid is not an excuse because there is a vaccine requirement. Mainland stadiums are full of vaccinated patrons. What don’t they get about the vaccine working? Vaccines WORK!!!
