Hawaii, which finished the season 6-7, will join the 83 teams that had qualified to compete in a bowl game. Hawaii is an alternate ahead of any 5-7 teams because it participated in 13 regular-season contests and finished the season with six wins that count toward meeting the definition of a "deserving team."

Good for seniors.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

Awesome, but I can just imagine the broadcast bringing up the issues brought up these past few days throughout the game.

This actually makes a lot of sense. UH is in Hawaii and should have a larger market.

And good for BG and TG, and the entire program. So all the unhappy players left. Maybe now they can focus on football again.

I complain a lot but I also support the student athletes and the university no matter what. I bought my tickets today.

mystery meat bowl? okay, looked it up. going to be a pre-game banquet like no other. enjoy wyo.

anyway, got my tickets, makai side, hope it's the shade by 3pm. hope the hawaii team is in the shade as well. parking passes are available, with the purchase of a ticket package starting at $650 for 12 tickets and 2 parking passes and upwards in price. regular, cut-throat first come first serve parking is $15 per car collected at the gate. hope they save a handicap space for me. no tailgating, but eating in your car is okay. guessing a jacket and raincoat would be prudent. at least there should be restaurants open for snacks after the game. thought by dec.24 there would be a few food trucks allowed to serve fans at the ching.

This Hawaii team deserved to be in a bowl game this season and its awesome they get to stay home in the Hawaii Bowl on ESPN. With all those transfer portal losses the team will have 3 weeks to get things figured out. Memphis is no joke, the Memphis Football program is the real deal.

last game had a lot of folks parked in the structure having plate lunches and hanging out. i think we are going to do the same.
