Sports Hawaii

We're 3 and 3 now and have 7 games left in the season. We would be assured a bowl bid with 7 wins and might back in with 6 wins. But the schedule is not forgiving with 4 of the remaining games are on the road. Can we do it?

Here are the remaining games with our opponents current record:

@ Nevada (4-1)
New Mexico State (1-6)
@ Utah State (3-2)
24th ranked San Diego State (5-0)
@ UNLV (0-5)
Colorado State (2-3)
@ Wyoming (4-1)

NMSU, UNLV, CSU, and Wyoming get us to a bowl. We may get a win from Nevada, USU, or SDSU...only one win.

I hope UH does (more) better and get an invite to mainland bowl. But will there be a Hawaii Bowl this year 2021? According to current web info, it will be at TC Ching. So that's kind of small for a Bowl, no? Consider they got to make some of the $$$ back in a larger stadium. Will things be different in Dec, if only 1,000 can attend now? I would think Hawaii Bowl planners would want TC Ching field to be packed shoulder to shoulder together.

The road games will be tough. And the home games are not a given. We need to run better. I think this will be the key to the rest of the season. I hope the bye week wasn’t a waste. I hope that Nevada will take us lightly. Win this one and I can see us in a bowl game.

You'll beat Wyoming. We don't have a QB who can actually pass the ball.

With Bo-Who-Don't-Know leading the way, I don't see how.

We have a legit chance to lose at home to NMSU. So, no, I do not think we will be bowl eligible.

Yes. I think the Utah State game is important. Hate to go into the last three games having to win all to be bowl eligible.

It's starting to look pretty difficult to be bowl eligible. We're 4 and 5 now. We need to win 3 out of the last 4 games.
