Re: 2021 UH Opponent's Schedules of Schedules, Week 5, Down go the #18 Fresno!!!!

Post by chawan_cut »

WOW!!!!!! totally didn't expect that showing last night. Our D who has been questionable at times all year, showed up in force!!! 6 forced turnovers! made current conference player of the week Haener, who led the nation in accuracy %. NOt last night! He threw 4 to our guys! and we strip sacked him for another. they did everything they could to assist true freshman Schager in an upset for UH history..... in front of no one.... (but that's another story)

We get a well needed bye to soak this in before we head to Reno, where Nevada comes off of their own upset at the ugly blue boise turf. Boise has a losing season for the first time in forever with their new coach and the fans there are probably missing Harsin right now.
Here's how everyone else did:

- UCLA will drop out of the top 25 this week after losing at home to ASU. They head to the weaker Arizona next week to see if they can righten the Bruin ship
- Portland St gets its 2nd win of the season at S. Utah. They go to lovely Moscow Idaho to play in the Kibbie dome this week
- Oregon st might be the surprise of the PAC12, handing visiting UW another loss. They go to Pullman and play Rolo who upset Cal this week
- San Jose barely comes out a winner vs visiting New Mexico St. Man I wish we could play our game over against the Spartans.
- Nevada hosts those Aggies this week and hope they don't have a let down.
- Utah St loses to the Cougars of BYU, who is having a good year. They have a bye this week before going to that ugly Raider stadium to play the rebels
- San Diego St also had a bye this week and host lowly New Mexico.
- UNLV has yet to hit the win column, losing to WAC UTSA. They get a Bye to figure things out before Utah state in 2.
- Both Colorado St and Wyokie's Wyoming also had byes. They get SJSU and Air Force this week.

Rest up guys, enjoy the win, catch up on school and GO BOWS!

In the MWC standings section you goofed. UW is 4-0, NOT 2-2. [-X

Do I have to quote a certain score again? [-X

Post by chawan_cut »

bye week to prepare for a really good nevada team. they just roughed up NMSU but who doesn't?

- UCLA takes down the WIldcats and get really struggling UW this week.
- Portland state goes to the awful Kibbie dome and loses to Idaho. They get the lower brother in Idaho St this week
- Oregon st loses in Pullman to Rolo's Cougars. they get a bye this week before Utah next week
- SJSU loses bad to Colorado state. man if we only had that game over again. They host big brother San Diego st this week. might be ugly
- Fresno had a bye this week too to dwell over our upset of them. Poor Wyoming might get the worst of it this week
- Utah St also had a bye and go to Raiders stadium to try to keep the Rebels winless
- SDSU roughed up New Mexico this week and again host the Spartans
- Wyoming gets a taste of a real team and loses to Air Force. Good luck against the Bulldogs

- Reno won't be easy but if our Defense shows up again and Chevan is healthy, who knows what might happen...

Re: 2021 UH Opponent's Schedules of Schedules, Week 7, Loss at Reno

Post by chawan_cut »

unfortunately the honeymoon is over for our Freshman Schager, throwing 4 ints after we had such a great rushing first half. Hope Dae Dae is healthy for this week's game back home at Ching. Hope Chevan's shoulder also has recovered as we could use his experience and decision making skills back at qb.

- UCLA gets 2 in a row with a win at UW. The Huskies are having a rough year like us. They better be ready for the visiting Ducks this week who are still trying to keep their season hopes up.
- Portland St takes care of lesser Idaho St this week and gets to rest before Cal Poly in 2
- Oregon St also had a bye this week but Utah comes in hot after beating ranked Arizona St.
- San Jose hosted San Diego St and took them to OT before losing. They go to winless UNLV this week to play at Raiders stadium
- NMSU had a bye this week to prepare for us. Hope we're healthy and they come for a vacation
- Fresno easily took care of wyokie's team who has hit a snag in their season. They host Nevada this week in a race to catch SDSU
- Utah St has a tough time in Vegas but comes out with the win. They host Mountain division leader Colorado St this week for a big match up for the top spot
- Wyoming should have no problem with New Mexico this week.

Lots of other upsets this week.
- Iowa will no longer be #2 after losing to Purdue
- #19 Arkansas gets killed by Auburn
- Utah upsets #18 Arizona st
- BYU loses at Baylor
- LSU upsets Florida but Orgeron still will get fired at the end of the year
- UConn finally wins in 2+ years.

Your first point - Gee, you don't say? We stink!!!!! That 4-0 start was fool's gold. Can't have a passing offense with a QB who can't pass.
Your second point - wanna beat! Sadly we'll probably get beat by the Hobos.

Re: 2021 UH Opponent's Schedules of Schedules, Week 8, Win vs NMSU with fans!!!

Post by chawan_cut »

YAYYY!!!! FANS!!!! 1000 OF EM... now let more of us in!
still sloppy with waaaay tooo many turnovers, especially on Special teams. Clean that up. cause we need to play perfect in Logan. Schager did just enough but man, our running game is crazy good! And two INTs for TDs?? when was the last time we had that? Ok, sure it was NMSU, but still....

- UCLA couldn't hold off Oregon at the Rose bowl. Their backup QB almost led them to a comeback victory until the late INT. Now they also go to Utah to play the Utes who just lost to Oregon St
- Portland St had a bye to prep for the Aggies of Cal Poly
- Oregon st is the surprise of the PAC12, but now go on the road to Cal.
- SJSU gets back on the winning track going to Vegas and beating UNLV. They host wyokie's Pokes this week. Lets see what happens
- Fresno shuts up the Wolfpack and brings them back down to earth. Should be a great game this week when they play SDSU.
- USU held off CSU and we head up to the altitude this week. Keep the momentum going Bows!
- In a matchup of the division's top teams, SDSU comes out on top over the Falcons.which puts USU as #1 in the mountain.
- UNLV gets to host their rival game. Reno gets to go to the big brother.
- Wyoming, losing to New Mexico? wyokie predicted it. what happens this week?

Re: 2021 UH Opponent's Schedules of Schedules, Week 9, Loss in Logan

Post by chawan_cut »

Utah St is our new team from Utah we can't just seem to beat. Altitude? Bad luck?
We need to regroup for a SDSU team that just got knocked out of the rankings after losing to Fresno who jumped back in at #25. Will the Aztecs be PO'd? Or down and out that their undefeated season is no more? But, there will be a full stadium finally on Saturday!

- UCLA loses another, this time to the main Utah school. They get a bye this week before hosting Colorado in 2.
- Portland State takes care of the lesser Aggies to win 2 in a row
- Oregon St also loses in a who knows who wants to win the PAC-12 this year. They head to Colorado this week
- San Jose takes care of wyokie's wyoming. They get hot Nevada this week tho.
- NMSU had a bye but now get the Aggies who are on a roll.
- Fresno goes to SD and kicks them out of the rankings. They have a big showdown this week against Boise, man, who to cheer for??
- Nevada easily handles little brother and prepare for the visiting Spartans
- Colorado St loses to the Broncos and get to host the Cowboys. Wyokie can't wait.

Ok, see you at the stadium this Saturday. Should be fun! Lets see how the fans like it and how loud we get. And how sore our backs and butts get with stadium seating. hah

oh man, so excited to be at a home game in forever, but not excited to see our offensive performance. D played tough all game. How is SDSU ranked #24 with that team anyways? even our poor offense outgained theirs. our line couldn't give chevan any time, and poor clock management and playcalling has gotten the phone lines buzzing.
can we win 3 in a row? we shall see.

- UCLA had a bye but get the Buffalo who just beat Oregon St this week.
- Portland St has a 3 game winning streak going to Sac St this week
- Oregon St gets the Cardinal to try to right the ship after losing 2 in a row
- Nevada holds of San Jose and gets San Diego this week for West division bragging rights.
- New Mexico St actually held a lead against Utah St for a bit before going down big to the Aggies. They better bring extra pads for their $$$ game of the year as they head to Alabama this week
- Utah St goes to San Jose and get warmed up
- UNLV gets running and gets their first win of the year over New Mexico. Hope our offense finds itself in practice this week. Also they'll be playing in the new Raiders stadium. Wonder how many fans will show for both sides
- Also, wyokie must be super happy they beat his loved Rams. CSU gets in state rival Air Force this week who lost to Army.
- And Wyoming has a tough 2 weeks with Boise and Utah St coming up

this season continues downward. started the game amazingly with that long TD grab and then nothing. i was not there and also couldn't watch but i heard it was more of the same. fans asking for a change. we shall see what happens in these last 2 games. this is one of the few seasons we'll end it on the road so this week's home game is senior night

See you guys there!

ah why can't we do anything easy!?!? big lead, let it slip, then a crazy 4 TD in 3 minutes to end the game to hold them off.
now the big game at Wyokie's Cowboys next week.... Good luck guys with the altitude and cold!

Re: 2021 UH Opponent's Schedules of Schedules, Week 13 Wyoming whimper

Post by chawan_cut »

welll.... where's wyokie now?? kinda quiet on the Laramie front....
and where was this offense all year? how many games could we have won if we had even slightly some of this from the last 2 games.
anyways, too little too late as our season is done with enough bowl eligible teams going to the bowls.
i might up date this one more time if i get motivated to add in our opponent's bowls.

anyways, here's my takeaways from the season.

- Boise looks like a plain ol team and sure do miss the good ole days. SDSU who has barely any offense scored 24 straight to send the Broncos packing. Maybe they will get invited to their own Famous Idaho Potato bowl and still not sell it out, thinking that they're better than that and still deserve to play in a big bowl. Wake up.
- UCLA wins 3 in a row but Oregon wins the PAC-12 West. We shall see how the new USC coach does as well. UW and WSU also have to hire head guys.
- Oregon St comes up short in the Civil War. Oregon got their revenge for last year. But no PAC-12 schools in the Final 4 as they kept beating each other up during the season
- San Jose's coach was loyal to the bone when he could've gone for the big bucks last year after their miracle win the whole conference thing. Back to mediocrity.
- NMSU got their 2nd win to end the season on a positive note. I think we see them again next year.
- And Fresno ends up 2nd in the MWC West to SDSU. They'll have to replace their QB, Haener, and our DBs will be sad next year without him to throw to them. Lets hope their backup isn't as "good".
- Nevada wipes out Colorado St. The Rams used up all their offense against us last week it seems. 3rd place for the Wolfpack. They come here next year and hope our offense is better.
- No idea how Wyoming beat down Utah St last week but thanks for using up all your mojo leaving none for this weekend. USU is the Mountain champ and will face SDSU this week.
- And UNLV loses 2 in a row going down to Air Force this week. That loss to them still stings and we'll get them next year.

So what happens in the off season? Players are already entering the portal. any other changes? coaching? who will we bring in as recruits? Will fans show up next year in the increased capacity stadium? There'll be food and drink at least.

See you around! Go Bows!
Go Warriors! Go Na Wahine!
