I'm wondering if he is a PWO. He has minimal stats for 3 seasons at Catawba.

2020 - 27 carries, 52 yards, 0 TDs
2019 - 16 carries, 44 yards, 1 TD
2018 - 31 carries, 113 yards, 1 TD

I would be surprised if he was given a scholarship.

Lots of conflicting info. His Hudl college clips shows him getting a lot more yards then is being reported. 247 has him as a 225lb linebacker out of HS. MaxPreps had him as the #3 RB/OLB HS prospect out of North Carolina with a national rank of #162.

I agree. The video highlights don't match the stats.

If those stats are correct, I'm not impressed.

Could it be that the HUDL shows plays from his three seasons combined?

Even if a PWO with less-than-impressive D2 stats, the Grahams evidently must see something promising that fits their offensive scheme to assign him a valuable roster spot.

At least this kid looks the part....that of a physical specimen. https://twitter.com/RE4LR4RE/status/1347834805602426880 https://twitter.com/RE4LR4RE/status/1344602712969797633

Saw the highlights. He is built and runs like a prototypical "Nevada RB" like Chance Kretschmer, Vai Taua, Stefphon Jefferson, etc. Fits in our offensive scheme. Welcome!

if you add up the yards for the 3 years of stats it still doesn't match the highlight yards gained.

If you add up the stats for his three years it still doesn't match the yards he is gaining in his college highlights. He is about the same size as Hunter.

Of the 19 original signees during the Early and Late Signing Dates, 13 are new defensive players.

While the late additions (including PWOs) are on offense....with possibly another scholie OL and/or TE, there's also the possibility of a late scholie addition on defense too (maybe a LB and/or DB). There will probably also be a few more PWOs (both on offense & defense).

I coached this young man at mallard creek for 3yrs, he’s definitely a different breed. His states at mallard creek was not entered properly, is the reason for the entered low states. But his highlights speaks for itself. Player of the game is all three playoff games and also player of the game in the state championship vs wake forest. Yes 3 years at Catawba was name special teams player of the year and freshman standout. He got third string reps his freshman year surpassing RB’s that we’re already at Catawba his second year he was the 2 back playing behind a senior and got hurt Game 3 and missed the remainder of the season when COVID struck. Last season was canceled. Hawaii made a great choice this kid is a beast and will definitely silence the naysayers. Just enjoy the show this was a great addition.
