I like this pick up with apparently 4 to play 3. Was a high school hurdler, high jumper, triple jumper and relay guy, so you know he has some speed and explosiveness.

https://twitter.com/CodyWKrupp/status/1393807571551674368“I chose the school I felt the most comfortable with,” Tru Edwards said. “I felt comfortable with Hawaii.”
Edwards, a graduate of Mansfield (Texas) Legacy High, said he felt a connection with UH head coach Todd Graham, who was born and reared in the Lone Star State.
“We could relate a little bit,” Edwards said of Todd Graham. “He’s from the area where I’m living. I had good conversations with him. I felt (Hawaii) was the place.”
Edwards said he is 6 feet 3, 195 pounds, and capable of running 40 yards in sub-4.5 seconds. Navarro’s 2020 season was pushed to this spring because of the pandemic. In seven games this year, Edwards led the Bulldogs with 39 receptions for 434 yards and four touchdowns.

Awesome. He looks like the Fresno State type receiver (like Davante Adams) we could not seem to get to come here. Maybe it’s the FSU look in the highlights coupled with flashbacks. Welcome to the ohana!
Re: WR Tru Edwards commits
That's a big inside slot receiver, a la Greg Salas-sized.

Not much playing time or receiving opportunities with this craphappy offense.

Re: WR Tru Edwards commits
I'm truly dumbfounded bc theyvare not passing the rock, but brought in a $hit load of WRs. What a waste of effort abd scholarships. Are they telling the WRs during recruiting trips come to Hawaii to block for our RBs or catch a screen pass every now and then?
Be humble and confident in yourself and all things you do.
Re: WR Tru Edwards commits
after 367 passes you can slice the data any way you want to. It doesn't matter if we are running or passing the ball, how many passes were dropped or caught, how many hurries or sacks there were and how many passes were too low or too high or under thrown or overthrown. Everyone plays some very good teams and everyone plays some cupcakes. We've played our best receivers. The fact is after 367 passes as a team we are 7th out of 9 teams in passing efficiency and 8th in % passes completed. We are not a good passing team. The transfer portal allows players to transfer for any whim; more playing time, don't like the offense, closer to home, play in front of family, more opportunity, don't like the coaching staff, don't like the direction of the program, better bowl opportunities, championships, homesick, doesn't like where they are, more stipends, yada yada yada. Best of luck to Edwards! You only live once. Follow your dreams.
