I'm thinking the same thing. He hardly played or I should say made catches for stats.

This brings up an interesting point. Some guys don't want that extra year of eligibility. Some guys just want out. I'm wondering if having an extra year would affect the pool of GAs, the coaching staff hires.

Noticed that he didn't play in the New Mexico Bowl.

Didn't he have a lot of catches at north Texas? Plenty of tape from his time there

Plenty of film of Bussey when he was at North Texas. Was very high on him coming into last season. Unfortunately he and Cordeiro couldn't connect. Best of luck to him.

 Like Rico, many seniors would be coming back for a 6th year and going on 24 years old. Some may just want to test playing at another level whether it be NFL, CFL or whatever is out there that will pay some bills

Very true. Some guys/family really need that. Every player think they got what it takes to play at the next (paid) level. The Benz, Bently, and the ladies. But if you ask guys like RJ Hollis, if he would want another year on the team, I'm sure he would jump at it. Real life sucks. The student experience is often more awesome. Without going off-topic, players are "paid" to be on the team. Real life of making a living and paying bills is no fun.

Congrats to Rico for the combine invite.

there is a lot of tape on Bussey. Good write up on Hula performance. Too bad we didn't have a QB that could throw the deep ball and the deep out. That limited his effectiveness. DBs took away the inside routes and limited him to short passes. The guy never got negative.
