Slowing down the Long Snapper on Punts

Post by BigWave96744 »

I notice our punt team doesn't place anyone to slow down long snappers on punts. Many times the LS is untouched and the first guy to our returner and we have no chance for a return. I noticed Boise jams our LS right after the snap. For 4 punts, returned only 1 for 7 yards. On the other hand we punted 7 times and BSU returned 3 for 72 yards. Anyone notice this?

Yup. Sure did. Blame it on the ST coach and his scheme.
Cats don't have owners. Cats have servants.

Also had no one taking out the gunners. Three guys consistently running down field unchecked.

And it's not like we are close in blocking any punts.
The scary thing is being primed for the other team to do a fake Punt
