Did you pay the refs for the game? Your DB's were practically mugging our receivers on pass plays and your Offensive Line was literally wrestling our defense with take downs like it was WWE Live.
Nope. I credit our altitude and the cold weather. Your defense stayed out on the field too long and that's what killed ya. Welcome to 7,220 feet, boys!!!!!
Hey, it coulda been worse. There coulda been a blizzard happening with our famous horrible wind!
It was an odd win. Chevan showed some inexperience. Our O-line is still not all that despite being so big. Some of the officiating was horrible, and yet, some fair. What ever happened to the taunting call? That whole, grand, bow by the defense of Wyoming after making a play was just *#@%. This isn't the NFL. That late pick-offensive-interference call in the 3rd quarter was awful.
The commentary was fair. Hawaiian narrative tends to be fair also.
Coach Graham does not need to be told about being mentally tough. He has a proven record of putting out tough teams. UH, on the other hand, is a work in progress. Yes, they simply were not ready for WYO....be it cold, travel, elevation. But they played tough until they just could not give any more. The defense did, at least. Again we are a work in progress. I will trust in the process this coach has put forth.
Even though some here are angered of what I wrote, I wish they didn't take what I wrote out of context because surely I didn't insinuate that Coach Graham needs to be mentally tough because in plain English I was referring to his players. I can direct you to a 1000 bios of championship athletes and they will tell you the one most important trait that separates them from rest is being mentally tough. Just today I read and quote the MMA fighter that's retiring-(to me this makes sense).
Khabib-Those words about overcoming yourself are true. If a person doesn’t break psychologically, it will be hard to break them physically because the mind breaks before bones.”
In view of the Wyoming game imo I saw red flags. Sorry.

A question I have, did they come home between road games? I thought I heard on the FSU broadcast that we have never won the tail end game on a two-game road trip. Although looking at your results, I think the 2007 UNLV game was part of a two-game road trip. I think the rest we came home and then went back up.
You are correct. Here's a quote from JJ after the win at UNLV:
"It's tough to win on the road," Jones said. "I'm proud of the guys -- two road wins and staying on the road for 12 days. It will go a long way."
