Didn't know Rolo had one. First time I've seen one like that.

story i heard was at the dedication of a major piece of artwork in the locker room, one of the guest donors wore the koa link lei a metaphor of linking the warriors together. some in attendance donated to have a similar lei made for rolo. when rolo left he took his. donors sponsored another koa link lei for graham.

jeff gomes is the big island artist who crafted the lei.

wonder if he is receiving more orders now.

Thanks. I never noticed it on Rolo. I guess he always had other leis on too, so it got hidden.

looks like a lot of work is put into each lei. afraid to ask, but, do you know what the price of a lei would be?

it took 15 well heeled donors to sponsor the lei for graham, i'm afraid it's out of my league. i was only interested in the cost of the lei.

Like most Koa bowls, pieces of art, etc, this one comes with a price. :). Let's just say it is a bit more than a few $100 chips at the casino.
