He’s still following Rolo, he’s not following Abe or anyone else from the Hawaii staff

We need those second chance studs that either got hurt or in trouble like pisa,, colt, bess, and leonard. What do we have to lose with these kinda guys. They make a mistake you drop them or they will take it seriously and appreciate the coach and program

Where are the OL, Dline, and LB recruits?

After the Early Signing Date (before Rolo left), the top recruiting priority areas were DTs & CBs....along with a QB, RB, and a OT. D'Anthony Jones was the only hybrid DE/OLB being recruited. LB was not a high recruiting priority (even with Matautia & Picanco graduating) with Pavihi returning from injury & Tufaga transferred in....along with Muasau's rapid development.

Unfortunately, doesn't look like recruiting need for DTs (as well as QB, RB, and OT) have been addressed.

With Graham and the new Special Teams coach both being out of college football for 2 years along with the new OC & OL coach coming in from the NFL, there just wasn't enough time for them to establish mainland recruiting ties to find the under-recruited/overlooked "diamond in the rough" players (such as Bethley, Byrd, Hune, Laulu, Manning, Matthews, Pryor, Smart, Thomas, Wa'a, Ward) that Rolo's staff found the past 2 Signing Classes who contributed greatly to the team's success this past season. Other than Abe & Yoro & Santa Cruz, the rest of the staff just started evaluating potential prospects within the past week or so.
