I think next season, the coaches are going to focus on linemen and linebackers and probably try to get the best QB they can get for their system.

For the next 2021 Signing Class, will definitely need to recruit & sign at least 2 OTs (since didn't sign any this year).....being that the top 5 returning OTs will all be upperclassmen this coming season. Gene Pryor, Joey Nu'uanu-Kuhi'iki, and Ernest Moore will be seniors, while Ilm Manning & Micah Vanderpool will be juniors. Will probably also need to sign at least 2 interior OL....being that 4 interior OL (Eletise, Levao, Sunia, Tu'ulima) will be seniors this coming season.

The top 2 local HS prospects next year happen to be LBs.….who have UH ties.....Saint Louis '21 Mason Tufaga (brother of current UH LB Isaiah) and Mililani HS '21 Wynden Ho'ohuli (son of former UH LB Watson)…..but who also already have lots of Power-5 offers....so it'll probably be a major recruiting undertaking for UH to sign either of them.

That's exactly my thoughts. I hope the local recruiting group is already looking at St Louis, Kamehameha & Kahuku and Mililani as top priority. If somehow we manage to keep 50% of the kids who're being looked at by power 5 schools... it would be amazing.

JMHO that next year's crop of local HS Class of 2021 prospects will be down.....in terms of quantity (not quality)…..compared with the past 2 classes (2019 & 2020)...which might make recruiting tougher....since there'll be less quality recruits to compete over.
