Re: DL Kemon Smith commits
Smith is a 6-2, 280 DT from Blinn College. He’s ranked the 8th best JC DT in the country.

Re: DL Kemon Smith commits
Solid base, quick first step and strong hands means he can come in and contribute early. The D is in dire need of players that can move the line of scrimmage.
Be humble and confident in yourself and all things you do.

At the Army game, Issako Sapoaga spent pregame time talking to Kemon.

Will that be his number? I'm seeing more defensive player getting lower numbers.
Does UH need to "retire" 15? I was kind of "disappointed" that UH allow players to use #54. There's only one #54, Al Noga.

I'm sure it's not going to be 15. He'll be assigned one when he gets here.cabanalane wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2019 6:31 am Will that be his number? I'm seeing more defensive player getting lower numbers.

Need the strong types, especially from Texas/Louisiana. Must have been a Blinn College teammate of Djuan Matthews.

I feel the same...but my view is if you play D you can use legend numbers from 0 say #14, #15 or if you play O you can use say #54. Just cant be same side of the ball. This way you can use these famous numbers as lures.cabanalane wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2019 6:31 am Will that be his number? I'm seeing more defensive player getting lower numbers.

I am happy we got his guy. With the loss of Se’ei, Akoteu and Moananu we need some bodies to fill the rotation inside. Still I think at least one more would be nice.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

Kapoi, Russell, Tavi should be solid. Definitely need another JC type or a HS DT that's ready now.
