I'm not sad...had some ball control issues and has a strange hitch when running that seem to trip him up at times. He knows Reed has a lock on position. Will not start at a school on par with UH.

Good luck to Holly! Hopefully wherever he lands he will find success!! Maybe this RnS offense doesn't match up well with his style of running and pass blocking skills. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior!

He could be graduating and could play immediately as a grad transfer back in his home state of California. He could also remain in Hawaii. He did choose Hawaii over Arizona St and SJSU. Regardless, he has been a great teammate and student athlete at Manoa

Well our running back turnovers will drop dramatically. I always cringed seeing Fred there cause if he got it, it was most likely going to be dropped.

Agree 100%

Furuta coming off of an injury and in his last year (can't play him next year). Holly has been practicing the whole time Fu has been out. Seems unfair to have Fu playing before Holly, IMO. I would have started, Reed and played Holly second, and Fu for only a few plays.

Fu gives us the blocking that we need from our backs. It just isn’t as good when he is not back there. I really like Reed my favorite runningback but his size has been a problem. He tries so hard but I have never seen a back get blown up the way he has when trying to block. We need a Fu size back who can run like Reed.
