Props to the 2019 UH Offensive Line

2019-19 sacks allowed;552 pass attempts-1 sack per 29.0 pass attempts

Statistically the 2004 offensive line ranks as one of the best,
however, the 2019 offensive line ranks as the most improved with
a differential of -27 sacks allowed in 13 games from a year ago.
Props go out to OL coach Mark Weber. Even the average of 5.24
yards per rushing attempt ranks with the best offensive lines on the
list (3rd, IIRC). The beauty is that basically the five starters from
this season (w/exception of #57) return next season and there are
capable backups at every line position. From the 2004 team
who can remember the play of Samson Satele, who was a 2nd
round pick. It wouldn't surprise me if a future NFLer comes from this group.
Noted-What's remarkable the 2019 OL did not have the tools that
the 2004 OL had, namely (a) Nate IIaoa 151 shuffle passes in his career (2002-2006).

2018-46 sacks allowed;545 pass attempts-1 sack per 11.8 pass attempts
2017-30 sacks allowed;423 pass attempts-1 sack per 14.1 pass attempts
2016-24 sacks allowed;438 pass attempts-1 sack per 18.2 pass attempts
2015-31 sacks allowed;422 pass attempts-1 sack per 13.6 pass attempts
2014-41 sacks allowed;469 pass attempts-1 sack per 11.4 pass attempts
2013-43 sacks allowed;519 pass attempts-1 sack per 12.0 pass attempts
2012-40 sacks allowed;398 pass attempts-1 sack per 9.95 pass attempts
2011-41 sacks allowed;598 pass attempts-1 sack per 14.5 pass attempts
2010-40 sacks allowed;618 pass attempts-1 sack per 15.4 pass attempts
2009-36 sacks allowed;569 pass attempts-1 sack per 15.8 pass attempts
2008-57 sacks allowed;490 pass attempts-1 sack per 8.5 pass attempts
2007-35 sacks allowed;663 pass attempts-1 sack per 18.9 pass attempts
2006-28 sacks allowed;616 pass attempts-1 sack per 21.9 pass attempts
2005-38 sacks allowed;578 pass attempts-1 sack per 15.2 pass attempts
2004-17 sacks allowed;636 pass attempts-1 sack per 37.4 pass attempts
2003-26 sacks allowed;754 pass attempts-1 sack per 29.0 pass attempts
2002-27 sacks allowed;731 pass attempts-1 sack per 27,0 pass attempts
2001-33 sacks allowed;570 pass attempts-1 sack per 17.2 pass attempts

Guess who was the OL coach of the 2008 team, 1 sack per 8.5 pass attempts?

Nice to see the stats for a different perspective.

So many returnees on the O-line, including Kohl Levao. Lots to look forward to...

The offensive line has been playing great. Hope they can keep it up for the next tow games and will be very interesting next year when Levao comes back. Taaga was the offensive MVP and Pryor most improved.
