Oline versus Air Force

Post by Grinch »

It’ll be interesting to see who gets the start on oline now that most are healthy. Vaipulu, Levao, Eletise ...
I’m assuming Vaipulu starts at right guard, but Levao back at center?? And, I’d like to see Eletise getting more reps.

Definitely a good problem to have. I can't see them sitting Levao.

I think Tuilima has been doing a good job but I wonder if he can handle the Falcons 330 lbs nose tackle. I think it is one of the reasons they moved Levao to center. I just hope that if they do we don’t have problems with the snap.

If he is ready Vaipulu should play. We really need to get our run game going. He could be the difference.

Air Force has a 330 lb nose guard?? Assuming he’s not a jet pilot 😂. But seriously, I hope Hawai’i can get a run game going.

Well we now know for sure that Hawaii's offensive line can't run block. And add four sacks to boot. Very disappointing for a veteran unit.
Cats don't have owners. Cats have servants.

I have a friend that went to the AF and work at the Brig, so prison guard. He end up a social worker. Another friend went into the Navy and became a Cook. Work as a Chef at Waikiki and own two houses in Hawaii Kai.

So the days of them having "smaller" guys are in the past. This is football, and need to win. They will make you an Officer of Something later on.
