Guess the go to receiver: UH vs Air Force
It seems every game, another receiver is the go to guy for reception, yards, tds. This is a good situation to be in. Byrd, Ward, Sharsh, Smart & Stovall has all taken turns. Who will it be this week, one of these 5? Victor? Phillips?
I think Jojo Ward will bounce back.
How you figgah?

I don't think Air Force can stop us.
I will go with Ward

We may possibly have a few receivers that reaches 100+ in this game. Jojo for sure will have a big game. He will redeem himself for his unusual performance he had last week.

What happened to Jo Jo? Sure hands dropped 3 perfect passes that could have helped change the outcome of the game a little. That was uncharacteristic of him to drop so many passes.

Air Force defense is what it has always been: low on talent, therefore they blitz like maniacs and sit on underneath routes. They'll concede the deep ball in the hopes that most of their opposition can't consistently execute it.
JoJo goes from being completely blanked by a true freshman corner in Boise to an Offensive Player of the Week type performance.

I'm looking forward to being surprised as to which Warrior receiver has the biggest game of the group. Mainly that Cole stays within the offensive schemes and doesn't go cowboy with his throws and just takes what the AF defense gives.

I like this thread. It seems like every game, there has been one guy that stood above.
I'll go with Byrd.

this feels like a game where Cedric Byrd excels.
Re: Guess the go to receiver: UH vs Air Force
it will be the receiver who gets open the most.

Good to know. Thanks. I thought the gloves are like stickum where everything sticks to the glove? Crucial passes in critical drives.uhwarriors wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2019 8:30 amInjured a thumb during the bye week.HawaiianHogster wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 9:01 pm What happened to Jo Jo?
