Eletise is Eligible
Re: Eletise is Eligible
AWESOME news!!! If he’s in football shape (running, weights, practice reps, film) ... I hope he lines up next to Lavao. We’d have the biggest (with talent) Warrior o-line that I can recall.

+1. Huge news. I was hoping for this. Maybe the best depth too.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

I just read somewhere that Eletise has been practicing with the team throughout the appeal process and is expected to play (didn’t indicate how much though) on Saturday.

I don't think that there is doubt that Wa'a is going to redshirt.BigWave96744 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 7:27 pm Would like to see Bubba Wa'a redshirt then have 4 solid years

Dumb NCAA taking their sweet ole time.
Re: Eletise is Eligible
Great that he can play. At the same time let's not get ahead of ourselves. Chemistry on the OL is critical to be effective. Today's game is not the time to mess with chemistry. Play your best five. Play with what got you here. The difference in this game can come down to one missed block, one penalty, one sack or one great block. Chemistry and rythem matters.
Re: Eletise is Eligible
TheDuke ... I agree with you regarding chemistry. And, we don’t know how Eletise will play after the time off. But, I think the Warriors played two different players at right guard the last two games. So we’ll see and hope for the best.

Re: Eletise is Eligible
It'll be interesting to see who starts at RG. I would think Vaipulu unless he's hurt, then Wa'a. I think Levao and Eletise have spot duties for the first couple of games.

Re: Eletise is Eligible
I think levao or Eletise starts at RG since there's been no word on Vaipulu's availability and I think they want to RS Wa'a. If I had to guess, I think Levao starts at RG and Eletise plays. Levao has been practicing for about 2 weeks. Eletise has been practicing all Fall and during the season, so he should be ready to go condition and scheme wise.

Hensley has been pretty solid. Hasn't been making those penalties he had last year. I think he would start at RG.

But why is it that every time a flag is thrown I cringe, expecting to hear "#57?"
