Is Hawaii everybody's homecoming game?
Re: *****Official Hawaii vs. Boise Pre-Game Thread*****
hawaii has more pac12 conference wins than eight pac12 teams. hawaii matches three other pac12 teams who have two conference wins. only usc has three conference wins.

I love that most everyone is choosing Boise to win today, including all of the Game Day crew. We need the edge of being the underdog. Better yet, disrespected as the sacrificial lamb on Bronco Homecoming.
My humble opinion is that Boise has not played against an offense like ours since FSU, whose QB threw for 327 yards 3 TDs and no picks. Marshall, Portland State, Air Force and UNLV can't compare to what we bring to the table offensively. BS hasn't seen a real passing attack in over a month. Defensively, I think Batoon uses his rotation of 10 to 15 defensive linemen to put some pressure on Bachmeier. Their offensive line has been inconsistent this year and we should be able to take advantage of that not only against the pass but the run as well. They have converted only 38% of 3rd and short situations. I expect a good game from Padello, who has been coming on of late. Kalen Hicks has been playing the best football of his career. Cortez Davis and the return of Kaneshiro helps our DB's make enough plays for us to win.
Warriors 38-31 on the ESPN nationally televised Bronco Homecoming Day.

Re: *****Official Hawaii vs. Boise Game Thread*****
It will come down to our receivers beating man press coverage. If we can our offense will move the ball and score. If we can't it will not be pretty. Our receivers have been able to beat PAC10 DBs except for Washington.

That would be for the PAC-12 North. Still have to play a South team in the championship game. Either way whoever wins the North will beat the South team.BigWave96744 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 12:55 pmI think Washington will battle Oregon for the PAC12 title.

Re: *****Official Hawaii vs. Boise Game Thread*****
They can only press man cover the wideouts. They can man cover the slots but they can't press or they will easily get "rubbed off" on switches. So the slots get free releases even against man. Our slots should be able to beat their nickel and dime backs on man coverage unless the safeties are doubling. But if the safeties are doubling the slots, the wideouts only have to beat the CBs. I'll take our chances with Ward in particular against press man with no safety help.

We will win if our team doesn't CHOKE! We have the man-power to beat the rest of our schedule, it's up to the players to execute. No team in the MW can cover all of our receivers. They may have 1 or 2 stellar DBs, but not 4 or 5 that can cover.
No mattah how critical, I support da coach, Rolo. I love what he doing wit Da WARRIORS.
