No. That's the point I was making.

Guys, relax and and enjoy. Washington will put in theri scrubs, we will make a few late scores, and a bunch of fans will write, "our boys nevah give up. we kept fighting till the end". Of course if the situation were reversed. the same fans would write " they scored in garbage time after we took our foot off the gas".

Yes. Just because you're losing a game doesn't mean you should play like poop.

They also missed 3 fgs against a trash Oregon state team in a game that was almost lost at home.

Only a fake fan would say bad performance doesn't matter.

Small victory but nonetheless a victory with a field goal.

I think so, Meskell's a struggling kicker, it's bad for his confidence, those were loooong FGs, especially for a struggling kicker. I would have only let him kick 35 yrds and under, make-able ones that he should make with no problems. Get his confidence up before going for 49 and 50+ yarders. IDK, perhaps I'm wrong. lol

Don’t give up on the boys! If Washington could score 38 in a half so could we. We get the ball back to start the second half. Hopefully, we can make the defensive adjustments.

It's about getting Meskell right. It's all in his head right now.

If you have a struggling kicker, let him try and get some confidence in a moment that doesn't matter, like in a blowout. There's a lot of season left and we NEED our kicker. Kicking was not a bad decision. This isn't a video game.

Right, and he's not going to get better if we are too afraid to kick FGs.

We need him for the conference games that really count.

All in all, not a bad first half against a good team.
