He was one of the linebackers that played with reckless abandon and will be missed.

Wow, that is very sad news. He was only a few months older than my son. Did not really hear his name his first 2 years at UH. But then he had a really nice year last season and was really looking forward to seeing him be a contributor this and next season.
RIP Scheyenne Sanitoa and best wishes to his family and friends.

Re: Scheyenne Sanitoa passed away
Losing this young man is very tough news. He was super humble when I saw him a few times after games, which is a great reflection on his upbringing.
He played very stoutly for stature and had tremendous speed - which I think was underrated. I was looking forward to him breaking out this year.
I lost a few of my friends in similar fashion when I was young. Mental health and having outlets to a listening/caring ear is critical in life especially bc some have a hard time not spiralling out of control. We'll never know his toughts/feels, but I hope ppl can use this to find ways to be understanding, caring, reach out to their loved ones or seek help. #resteasy41

I tried to search, so what was the cause of death? All the web stories are from when it happened. "Cause of death of not has not been disclosed."Palolo_2LA wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2019 11:43 pm Mental health and having outlets to a listening/caring ear is critical in life especially bc some have a hard time not spiralling out of control. From your reply, it's mental health? What exactly?
