Re: Listen to UH making an offer to Kilohana Haasenritter
Already took an unofficial visit to UH back on April 20....so the UH coaches must've liked what they saw & heard.....

Another Commit? Yes, it's Kilohana Haasenritter
Last Saturday Coach Rolo tweeted #SupPalala. On Monday it was announced that OL Jake Tuatagaloa of Mililani had committed. A little more than an hour ago, Coach Rolo again tweeted #SupPalala. Has there been another commit? Tyrese Powell a DL from Texas was just on a visit. Could it be him?

Good. We seem to be getting a lot of early local commits. Hope they stick with it.

The speed and elusiveness he exhibits make him an exciting recruit. If he continues to work hard, perfects the playbook, etc, he can make a splash like his predecessor - Mr. Owens. He has a similar body type as mighty mouse and is equally explosive. Things are looking up for the home team.uhwarriors wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 8:37 pm https://twitter.com/RobDeMelloKHON/status/1140475942327869440 https://twitter.com/ESPNHonolulu/status/1140476854979088384

Was wondering about him signing today...glad he signed.
After watching some of his defensive back highlights, he could be a solid FS like his unko Mana.

I wonder if any relation to the Haasenritter’s of Ewa Beach back in the 70’s? Brothers Polynesian/German athletes from back in the day.

Re: Hilo HS WR Kilohana Haasenritter Signs
The Ewa beach Haasenritter's are of relation to Kilohana Haasenritter. Charles Haasenritter Sr (Kilohana's Grandpa) is first cousins with Hans (German) Haasenritter from Ewa Beach (their fathers were brothers). Both Charles Sr and Hans Haasenritter moved there families to the Big island in the 1990's and hung out from time to time. Also, Kilohana is the nephew of former UH safety and former NFL player Mana Silva. Kilohana's mom and dad's side of the family were all collegiate athletes; baseball, softball , football, Kilohana's mom (Kahealani Silva Haasenritter) played volleyball at UH manoa and finished her career @ UHH before trying out for the US Olympic volleyball team and considering a volleyball career over seas. Both his grandfather's were youth coaches in Hilo Hawaii Charles and Maurice. The late Charles Haasenritter Sr led his sons Sr Little League team to a World Championship in 2003 and was a longtime President of Waiakea Uka Athletic Association helping his children all earn Academic and Athletic scholarships into college. Maurice Silva is a coaching guru in Hilo Hawaii that trains allot of top athletes in speed, agility, and quickness including his 3 kids (Kahea, Mana, and Kana). Kilohana has been his prodigy since the day he was born and started training him regularly from the age of 6. His uncle Kana former UH football walk on (slot) that ran a 4.48 at the tryout once said that he and Mana who ran a 4.38 and 4.42 at his NFL combine, "Kilohana is faster and more athletic then we were at his age." They are helping Kilohana to have a seamless transition from his prep to collegiate career. This is not by accident, Kilohana's from one of the best sports families on the Big island of Hawaii.
