It seems like every new LOI DB/CB signed is 6 foot tall - UH need the height.

Very interesting article. Credit to McKenzie Milton and Dillon Gabriel with an assist.

Rest of article:Killins said he got the inside scoop on Hawaii from a pair of his brother Adrian’s teammates at UCF — quarterback McKenzie Milton and December signee Dillon Gabriel.
“They told me it’s a place where everybody is loving and the culture is great,” Killins said. “They had good things to say, and that’s what really made me feel comfortable.”

There's so much speed in FL...Killins doesn't seem to have elite speed, so if you have a bunch of 4.4 guys at UCF, not need a 4.55 guy. I watched HS FB in Florida when I was training for a job for IBM early 2000s...actually watched Frank Gore play...he was great and the speed of the game was college level. He was caughted from behind a few times.stranger808 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 4:30 pm I wonder why UCF, FIU didn't offer, the dude's a 3 star.
Ironic how the Hawaii boys sold Hawaii. UH need better CBs more than QBs at this point, so it works out.

I would move this guy to FS, what do you think?Palolo_2LA wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 7:17 pmThere's so much speed in FL...Killins doesn't seem to have elite speed, so if you have a bunch of 4.4 guys at UCF, not need a 4.55 guy. Re: DB Travon Killins Signs LOI
If he doesn't start at CB, he could definitely be a FS or NB and perhaps KR or PR. I assume they'll play the JC guy T Allen at FS or NB as well. Usually the JC guys are ahead of HS guys.stranger808 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 7:23 pmI would move this guy to FS, what do you think?Palolo_2LA wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 7:17 pmThere's so much speed in FL...Killins doesn't seem to have elite speed, so if you have a bunch of 4.4 guys at UCF, not need a 4.55 guy. Can't wait for this kid to make an impact. He definitely has the tools to make a difference for UH's secondary.
