I’m not. I remember when we went down to their place one year and got smoked. It’s all about matchups. Sometimes you go up against a team that has your number. I hope our players are ready.

If the Shotgun RPO is our bread and butter O for the Hawaii Bowl, we will get spanked!!!
We need to go Four Wide, quick slants, quick outs, QB sprint out option etc...and sprinkle in RPO on occasion. Also, mix it up with passes to the RB out of the backfield, IMO. Play Holly, Reed or Dale at RB.

One last thing. The option, would be nice to see around the goal line or when we need a first down. Use it, once or 2x a game to keep the D honest. That would drive the DC batty.

If we use the Shotgun RPO as our bread-n-butter, 45-13 LaTech wins.
If we go Four Wide and mix it up a bit, it's a toss-up, but I think we win, 45-42.

Which Cole McDonald are we going to see out there? The one that can't find an open receiver or the one that is a gunslinger passing for over 400 yards and 5 TD passes? Will our defense give up chunks of rushing yards and big plays? Can our O-line protect? Will UH come out all fired up and play that way the whole game? There are many unknowns.

That said UH wins a close one. 35-33

If I wasn't such a great fan of UH And an outsider I would give La Tech the win by 2 TD's
