If UH is 6-7 should they get a HI Bowl Invite
I've been hearing folks around town that think a 6-7 record should get us a Hawaii Bowl invite because ESPN needs the fan turnout.
But this would have Hawaii riding a 6 game losing streak and not beating a D1 team with a winning record.
How you figgah?

No.
First of all. They ain’t going to finish 6-7. They will win again.
Second, Hawaii fans aren’t turning out in numbers no matter what the numbers. So, they should not schedule the game for Hawaii
And regular season Tickets are a total rip off.
The program is broken.
Nobody cares anymore.

Odd are, they should win one or two at worst - I hope. So I'll answer that question later.
But consider how fast everything went to hell on Saturday, I don't know. It wasn't just a lost. It wasn't that they got beat. It was a meltdown, like they don't care anymore.

Call it a season and cut bait for next year.

I don’t know about that. UH will be, and rightly so, either double digit or close to it underdogs in 3 out of the 4 remaining games. And, based on recent play, I would say that there’s a much better chance of slipping up against UNLV than there is of pulling the upset against FSU, UTSU, or SDSU. That being said, the UNLV game should be a win. Should be.

Definitely. They've already earned it in my eyes. Aloha.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first season us mainland guys are getting a way to see all the games, one way or another - officially. It's going to be weird when the season is over. So I going to wish for the Hawaii Bowl. Bowl system is BS anyhow, so just let Hawaii play no matter what. 1-12, sure.
Ticket sales will still be the same, no?
If Hawaii Bowl did not feature UH, I would have no interest to watch at all.

So many bowl games that we probably still get in on APR. 20K is still better than 10K if it's a non-Hawaii team. Projecting to play either LaTech or Middle Tennessee St again. Big matchups! woo
