Army beat SDSU in the Armed Forces Bowl, 42-35 last season. The same SDSU team that smoked our Warriors 55-0. Army was 10-3 last season, I hope they graduated a lot of their top players. lol
Actually SDSU beat us 28-7 in Honolulu. Still smoked us but Colorado st also smoked us last year as well.

This game is really a toss-up to me. If Army traveled to Hawaii, I'd say we win by less than a TD, but since our team has to travel to the east coast, IDK. Perhaps , Army by less than a TD. In my opinion, we have issues with pass defense and DB tackling. Army has strong runners and our DB's are in the habit of arm and bump tackling—the lack of fundamentals could cost us. Play action will be huge for Army in this game. If our offense can hang at least 50 on them we should be okay, one would think so. Another thing, if we get more than 2 turnovers, I think we lose.
I know this will make no sense because of the above statement, but I'm sticking to my earlier score prediction, 50-45, Warrior's win!

I "won." Sorry guys. I had to go with the gut feeling, rather than as a fan's choice.
All this talk about GOAT had to come back down to reality. I do believe this year's team is better. But I also think the other teams did not have enough film on the new R&S to figure it out.
Put game film on a 70" TV, the defense now see everything in UH's plan. The opposing team's defense will catch up, just like covering the R&S.
