Utah St is the hottest team in the MWC
UNLV is no slouch
SDSU is probably the 2nd or 3rd best team in the MWC

Winning 1 more game?

Still get chance, but boy, those chances are just sliding by and Slim to None is rearing up.

It will be a miracle. I wish that I could say otherwise but we still need to score a lot to win. I hope the coaches give Bethley a chance to start. He seemed to be around the ball a lot and lead the team in tackles. We need to change something on defense. What they have been doing is not working. Sometimes it requires a change in personnel.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

they should start bethley and move okeke back to LB so maybe we'll have a chance at covering a RB coming out of the backfield for a pass. guys like pavihi or sanitoa could be great one day, but i'd rather have someone else in there the rest of the way.

If UH can't beat UNLV, it doesn't deserve to be in a bowl game. #UNLVWINORBUST

Well. I said get chance. But boy oh boy that chance is quickly slipping away. Da boyz gotta get it together with two weeks to rest, heal up for the wounded, and get it on against UNLV. It cannot come down to having to beat SDSU in San Diego.

I was feeling somewhat confident about beating UNLV until they went out and beat SDSU. Now I don't know what to think.

Two ways to look at that that both benefit us:
#1, SDSU brought their F game.

#2, this was a case of UNLV blowing their load against SDSU and coming out flat against us. Don't forget that playing two consecutive road games can take a toll on any team, especially one that's lost 7 games.

If anything, the UNLV-SDSU game makes US believe that we can go there and win.

Great points. This may be UNLV's best win in years, so a let down would be natural. I hope you're right about us going there and being competitive, since I'll be at that game.

If we can't win one of our last two games, we don't deserve to go. We need to play better. Most teams get better during the season while it looks like we got worse. Hopefully, the bye week will help.

Yeah, why is that? Is it because we sucked in the beginning and played beyond our potential or is it because our coaches didn't do enough prep work prior to the upcoming games and just were arrogant and said we're going to play our game? Makes you kinda wonder.
