I'm sure I already know the answer to this, but is this the "full time" helmet or is it just a new variant to add to the list of options such as the good old dark metallic green helmet and last years white helmet that are available to use?

I hope they can rotate the white helmets and green helmets. The white helmets look better on road unis.

i like it. basic, simple to identify and stays true to hawaii sports branding. easier to market the stylized "H" as a unified logo for all hawaii sports merchandise.

The white helmet works great with both. Away unis look much better with it all being primarily white with the green trim and accents, and then with the home unis, the white just popped in contrast to the gray and dark green. I like matte green more than the metallic green and it's nice to see it matches the same green as the jersey,

These are the new helmets. Older ones will be repainted with a color TBA later.

Been a long time coming. I know some people got their hopes up with the Osaki design, but I'm just glad to see that green helmet again. The stink of the Von Appen era 2.0 continues to slowly fade away.

Meh. This now completes the "clay-putty" look of the new football uniforms. Looks like the whole thing was designed by Hawaiian Island Creations.

Matte helmets are not that new, Ohio had these back in 2012
