Big dude.
Re: chris naeole
told the captains to take the "c" off their jerseys.
Re: chris naeole
Passionate about football.
Re: chris naeole
I liked his interview from the other day. Seemed like he was trying really hard to say that the team was not working hard enough without throwing the old leadership under the bus. In his own words, he's not gonna take no bull sheet!
Re: chris naeole
Don't let the door hit you. You better be in. Like he said they are now auditioning for the next coach.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

Re: chris naeole
I like everything he has said so far. He does not seem like a buddy-buddy type of guy. That may be what the team needs.
I do think Chow was too nice, like your uncle or grandfather.
I imagine the difference:
Chow - If you are hurt, ok, next man up.
Naeole - If you are hurt, STFU or GTFO.

I'm going to say Woolsey. Naeole did say he was more moble. He has not said anything about Max Wittek.

With nothing to lose, why not let one of the Frosh QBs play? Open all spots and see where the chips fall. They lost so many in a roll, what else can go wrong?cabanalane wrote:I'm going to say Woolsey. Naeole did say he was more moble. He has not said anything about Max Wittek.

Re: chris naeole
That's true. Start investing in the future. However, I would think Naeole owe it to the Seniors to put the best guy at QB even if there is nothing to play for. Yes, Wittek is a senior, but he's different in that sense.Palolo_2LA wrote:With nothing to lose, why not let one of the Frosh QBs play? Open all spots and see where the chips fall. Re: chris naeole
Max Wittek will tell all his California friends to never come to Hawaii (football).
Re: chris naeole
Ka Leo calls it a benching. I think Max is actually pretty beat up and needs to heal up some. Ikaika will not have a long leash either:
