Re-What do you not look forward to in the Nevada game?

My answers.

1. Seeing both teams on the field with no names on their uniform.

2. To harbor the feeling that UH is paying for their charter flight.

3. The last day of summer.

4. 4:30 p.m. start time.

5. Nevada's hurry up offense.

6. Nevada's running quarterback.

7. Nevada's 6'7" TE.

8. Nevada's 6'3" go to wide receiver.

9. UH beating Rolovich or Rolovich beating Hawaii.

10.Nevada's potent rushing attack.

11. Nevada's ability to expose an opponent's pass defense--play man to man they'll run, play zone they'll pass.

12. UH having the knowledge that Nevada's defense is very vulnerable to the quarterback draw play (last week Nevada's defense gave up at least 4 big quarterback draw plays) and not capitalizing on this.

13. UH coming out of the blocks slow, like they did in the first two games.

14. The curse that national television has on UH.

15. Some drunk or streaker capitalizing on their 1 minute of fame, which will likely give Hawaii a black eye.

16. The national audience seeing a lot of debris and rubbish on the field.

17. Sour weather.

18. UH misfiring.

19. Hate to hear how porous the Nevada's defense is and then to see UH struggling.

20. Hate to hear how Nevada's defensive line has no pass rush and then to find that they continuously put pressure on UH's quarterback.

21.Nevada players having career days.

22. Fizzle. False hopes. Unrealistic expectations.

23. Miss-assignment football.

24. Miss tackles.

25. UH shooting itself in the foot, not capitalizing on golden opportunities.

26. Nevada counting it's chickens before they hatch.

27. The name Nevada conjuring up bad financial nightmares for me.

28. Bad refs. Injuries. Television timeouts (numerous).

29. Errant betting advice.

30. Series knotted up at 8-8 and to see Nevada take the lead.

There you have it, 1-30. I'm sure others have more. I speak the truth, this is what I don't want to happen today. If anything I hope it's the Nevada team that's reeled in badly (sorry I hate our cousins from that side of the family-I think the feeling is mutual).

So there you go, at the end of the day, as summer moves to fall, we'll also get a closer understanding of the Warrior team. I hope it's celebratory. I hope it's all good.
