A 2011 graduate of Culver City High School in California...a two-year starter for Culver while playing both sides of the ball as a receiver and safety…a two-time all-league and all-conference selection...as a senior, ranked 10th in the league in total tackles with 56…as a junior, led the team in interceptions with four and recorded 67 tackles...received team Rookie of the Year and Ironman Awards...also played one year of varsity at Verbum Dei High School where he was honorable mention all-conference...an honor roll student.

- Father played at Western Wyoming University
- Related to Gaston Green, who was a star running back UCLA, a 1st round draft pick for the LA Rams and later played for the Denver Broncos
- Attended the same HS as former Warriors Sean Butts and Channon Harris. Also Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, Suicidal Tendencies guitarist Rocky George, Chicago Cubs Darrin Jackson and NFL players Karl Paymah and Carnell Lake
