At 6'1" with 4.6 speed, you think he's slated for a "big safety"? Or if he grows, a small, quick LB?
Substance matters.

Does seem kind of slow for a CB, so you might be right.

Looks like a solid player. That 40 time is irrelevant if he does play CB. In cover 2, you really don't need blazing speed as long as your backpedal and breaks to the ball are quick. Also, if he has football speed and reacts to plays quickly those zone coverage is a perfect fit. In a bump and run scheme, he might be exposed.

in his video his play looks more like a safety - good in run support and roving around in the secondary. Not so much a true cover guy.
Substance matters.

Right....more of a safety type...could use 15+ pounds of good weight.

I like him at redzone corner or nickel. He looks like he could also be a big slot like Salas.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

He is probably going to redshirt, so we'll have 5 years.

Eh! If the other Brian Clay could catch the ball, he would have played football....Its easier to run without people trying to remove your head from your shoulders! :hello1:

Hawaii may have one of the best secondaries forming into the final WAC campaign, but the transition will be challenging when the Warriors play in the MWC in 2012. Great pickup!
