updated post week-3 scores.
sorry it took so long.
altitude and lack of finishing in the 1st quarter did us in. i believe if we took the momentum from the start, the game would've been ours.
usc gets another win before it starts its tough pac-10 schedule. luckily they get to warm up with wazzu.
army regains its winning ways by shutting out north texas.
charleston southern doubles up on mars hill before heading out here.
la tech can't stop navy's triple option
fresno handles USU's borel in their win.
nevada looks impressive in handling cal 52-31
idaho beats up on lowly unlv to keep them winless
boise handle's wyoming's altitude and kills em big. sorry, wyokie.
san jose gets their first win in a low scorer.
nmsu still is winless
and so is unlv.

updated for week 4.
finally, the first easy game in the last 2 years.
we needed it, but hopefully we don't get too over confident going into league play with la tech coming into town. they have a new coaching staff and are at 1-3, but we can't take anyone lightly.
usc beats up on hapless wazzu. still can't figure them out. they get jake locker and UW who had a bye this week.
army continues on their winning ways beating duke. next up, Herman Failure's Temple Owls. Go ARMY!!!
CU gets a bye before they host Georgia. Don't know who to cheer for in this one.
La tech only gets 12 in their loss to S. Miss.
fresno gets roughed up on the road at ole miss. they get cupcake cal poly before hosting us in 2 weeks.
nevada continues to roll, getting BYU. they just got ranked at #25 for the first time in forever.
USU loses to SDSU. maybe SDSU is getting better. or maybe their all everything qb had a bad game.
Colorado state kicks a last second FG to beat Idaho and end their 12 game losing streak.
Boo Boise holds off Oregon state. goes to pitiful NMSU next week before hosting the toledo rockets
San Jose gets smashed by Utah.
NMSU also gets crushed but by Kansas
and UNLV gets their first win of the season vs New Mexico

Hopefully this game gets us on the right track. La Tech isn't easy but winnable and should be a good start to our conference schedule.
Go Warriors!!!

good way to start the wac. get revenge against la tech and keep the momentum going into fresno next week.
usc gets bit at home by a last second FG by UW.
army comes up a td short against temple (boo HF boo!!!!!!)
CU takes advantages of Georgia's fumbles to hold them off.
fresno beats up on div-1aa cal poly
nevada easily handles in state rival UNLV. lowly san jose up next.
not sure if it was USU lookin good or byu suckin it as the aggies get their first win vs them in 10+ years.
idaho also gets a win vs an 1aa opponent in w michigan
boise wallops bottom dweller nmsu but drops in the polls. they gotta love the wac for having such easy teams but then hate us as well for getting the lack of respect. hmmm... TOO BAD.
san jose goes down against its div-1aa foe. can't imagine what their score vs nevada next week will be. then they host boise and fresno. murderer's row for the next 3 weeks.

DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE!!!!
Shutting down another offense again!
And then our offense got on track and piled it on with Green. 4 TDs! First since Glenn Freitas! Mr Stand jumper.
Idaho comes into town this week. They just beat up on NMSU and are lookin to keep it goin.
Other games:
As I thought, we gave Colorado a false sense of hope, as they're 0-3 in conference. This time losing to Texas Tech. Coach Hawkins doesn't have much left.
CSU is in a slump, losing its 4th in a row to the Virginia Military Institute.
Fresno beats up on hapless San Jose
Many teams had byes this week, including USC, Army, La Tech, Boise, Nevada and UNLV.
Go Warriors!!!

Enderle a NFL pro prospect??? really? #4 passing offense in the country? NOT LAST NIGHT!!!
big game next week vs evil boise. focus guys. you guys can do it.
oregon gives it to usc and keeps their #1 ranking.
army's cool camo unis help beat up VMI.
colorado's downfall continues. hawkins is a goner. we shoulda had this one.
csu also is on a losing streak. they were a class team. the only opponent i feel for.
la tech can't give boise much of a fight either.
fresno's on a bye
nevada scores a ton on USU, but gives up a lot too. i don't get it. we go to logan and shut them down, and USU does this at reno this week, yet nevada is still ranked higher. stupid poll voters.
in the battle of the bottom feeders, san jose gets a win finally over nmsu.
and unlv is fodder for tcu's run to utah.

Painful loss this week. All the hype and hope for this game came crashing down to reality on the blue field. I don't like Boise very much, but they beat us on all phases. They're good, but they won't break the top 2 unless a major upset happens.
This is gonna be a long bye week for the guys to simmer over this game, but hope they can clear their minds and focus on getting the next 4 games for a double digit win season!!!
USC takes advantage of a blocked extra point and runback to win by one.
Army loses in one of its Commander in Chief games to Air Force. (Navy on the other hand scores 76 points vs E. Carolina).
Colorado continues its downward spiral, allowing Kansas to score 35 unanswered to lose its 5th straight.
Charleston Southern struggles as well, losing its 6th in a row.
La Tech loses a close one to Fresno.
Nevada blows out Idaho with 844 yards of total offense, and does it by the air, not ground.
USU gets a win on sad NMSU.
and UNLV is falling falling falling.

Week 11
A well needed bye week. Got a chance to rest the wounded and let the backups get some time in the spotlight with 2 scout bowls.
Here's how everyone else did while we took some time off.
USC upset Arizona on the road to keep Kiffin lookin good.
Army takes out Kent before this week's matchup vs Notre Dame (who beat up on Utah, thus hurting TCU's ranking)
Colorado breaks their loss streak and win one with interim head coach cabral after hawkins is let go
CSU also snaps their 6 game losing streak with a high scoring win over Presbyterian college.
La tech continues NMSU's bad season
Fresno can't hold Nevada and lose late in the game. This actually helps Boise as it keeps Nevada ranked in the top 25.
Boise whips up Idaho in the Kibbie dome in their last in state rivalry game for awhile.
San Jose barely loses one to USU before focusing on us.
And UNLV also ends their skid to even worse Wyoming (sorry wyokie)
Hope our guys are well rested and prepared to take on the Spartans. Can't take anyone lightly. Gotta take care of business and shoot for 11!!! (wins)

Week 12
First off I want to express my best wishes to the recovery of Colt, Shakti and Theresa Wang from that horrible accident last week.

As for the games,
No problems this week even with a sloppy post-bye week performance. Congrats to the offense (Moniz setting the passing yards per game mark at 560, and the defense with 8 sacks and 2 INTs by Aaron Brown)
NMSU next week on the road. Las Cruces is no fun to get to but these Warriors have handled the road trips just fine. Bring home a win!
USC unexplicably loses to Oregon St (who had just lost to Washington State the week prior). Shows you that if you don't show up every Saturday, anything can happen.
Army loses to the Fighting Irish at a game played at the new Yankee stadium
CU gets 2 in a row with Cabral at coach. I wonder what Hawkins did that day...
CSU unfortunately gets blown out in their season finale.
Boise whoops up on Fresno. Way to go Fresno. Choking just like us on the big stage. at least we scored.
This sets up the showdown this Friday with Nevada who blasted the hapless NMSU. What do you think? Its in Reno. Temperatures are gonna be freezing. Nevada has usually choked as well in these big games vs the Blue Broncs. Go Wolf Pack! This is your last chance Kapernick.
Idaho gets back on the winning track vs struggling USU.
And UNLV gets back to losing to the Falcon Cadets after last week's win vs wyokie's Pokes.

Week 13
Who woulda thunkit? First Boise goes down to Nevada in stunning fashion on Friday. That left the door open for us to become co-WAC champs if we took care of business on Saturday.
Boy did we ever! Alex Green goes for 327 yards and smashes the previous 60 year old record of 250. He also goes over the 1000 yard mark. The first since Popeye legs Travis Sims in '92.
Greg Salas breaks Jason Rivers' mark and also hits 1000 yards for the season and 4000 for his career.
UH also breaks into the AP top 25 at 25. First since '07.
Here's how everyone else did.
USC goes down to rival Notre Dame in LA. Didn't look like the USC team that has been playing all year.
Colorado ends its season with a wimper against the Cornhuskers. Last game for the Buffaloes in the Big 12. The PAC-10/12 ain't gonna get any easier, especially once they rebuild with a whole new coaching staff.
La Tech squeaks by San Jose in a high scorer. They get to take on hot Nevada next week. Wonder if the Wolfpack with have a let down after such a HUGE win over Boise. Same goes for Boise. Will they be motivated to finish their season against Utah St with nothing much to play for except a game in their home Humanitarian bowl?
Fresno also has hit a scoring slump, barely getting by Idaho.
And UNLV gets a thumping by San Diego state before coming out here for the final NCAA game of the regular season.
Be there this Saturday to support our Warriors and Warrior Seniors!!!!
