Did Moniz start in today's Practice?

Post by HawaiianHogster »

Coach Mack said if Moniz plays today he will be the starter. Did anyone on here go to practice? Did Moniz play QB during the drills? How did he look?

That was fast. I didn't realize he posted so early.

Have fun lighting up the score board Moniz. Use your strength's. Stay out of trouble. Punish their defense.

he must not have actually had a concussion.
When in doubt, burn it down.

i don't think his concussion was too severe (at least IMO). they said on Saturday that Moniz' helmet was taken away from him so i think Moniz felt he was still able to play & finish the game

Why would they lie about him having a concussion?

And they always take the helmet away from a player that has had a concussion, they do this at every level of football. It insures the player from slipping back into the game without the coaches knowing it. They are not really in a clear state of mind and might try to get back in the game if they can just strap up the helmet and run back on the field.

Yes he took the first team reps today. He was followed by Austin and Rausch. Austin threw a few picks. Rausch looked decent.

Besides knowing the playbook, it seems like the the number of picks is what used to determine the QB rankings. Alexander threw the least. Moniz and Rausch are pretty much even, Austin throws a bit more. So, not only does our QB need to know where our receivers will run to, he needs to be wary of the Defensive player in that area, too. Like driving through obstacle course after obstacle course. I wonder how good QBs are at video games?
