Hale Koa - “House of the Warrior”

"House of Tetanus"
Re: New Stadium Nickname
In all seriousness, Aloha Stadium is already known as "the Rust Bucket," just like Honolulu Stadium was known as "Termite Palace." It's going to be hard to shed a nickname that is already ingrained in the public consciousness. Personally, I like "the Crater." It's simple, tough and catchy. And I didn't know there is actually a volcano outside the ticket office. That helps - just like "the Big A" in Anaheim got its name from a big "A" in the parking lot.
Re: New Stadium Nickname
I like the Cage or Thunder Palace, to me, Aloha's signature "thing" is that the stadium actually shakes when the crowd is loud.
"The Crater" or "Lava Pit" sound awesome, but don't make much sense since our stadium doesn't really look like a crater or a lava pit...

Re: New Stadium Nickname
There is allready a Hale Koa (military hotel). I think maybe Kahua ke Koa or something like that. I don't speak Hawaiian but the Hawaiians had sports arenas they played in. There should be a way to say the sports arena of the Warriors in Hawaiian.BigWave96744 wrote:Hale Koa - “House of the Warrior”
