Ipad alternative

Post by Grinch »

I'm a technology idiot.
I have an Ipad, but wanna get something smaller - mostly to use for emails, checking football scores, playing games like on-line poker, etc.
Any suggestions? Kindle with wi-fi ?

Thanks

if you want a 7" android tablet, I'd recommend the kindle fire hd, or the google nexus 7 or if you like iProducts, apple just today released info about their own 7" tablet "iPad Mini" that you will be able to pre-order in a couple days.

If you're used to the ipad then ipad mini may be the way to go. I would assume it should be easy to learn.

ok, thanks!!
I saw the ipad mini will start at about $329 . . . while I think the kindle is about $200. Not sure if there's a difference in quality, but I'll use mostly to play Texas Hold'um, Words with Friends, email, and SportsHawaii. =)
