From what I've heard, this game will support dedicated servers for PC, which may bring back the PC fans. I for one am waiting with bated breath!

Re: Call of Duty - Black Ops
while i might take a break from multiplayer, zombies mode is nice, and the campaign sounds far more interesting than any previous call of duty game. it'll also probably have less plot holes than MW2.
When in doubt, burn it down.

Call of Duty Black Ops Spoiler: Stuff Blows Up Impressively
By Stephen Totilo

Call of Duty: Black Ops benefits from a large screen. The bigger the screen the better, I learned last week. That is because Call of Duty games are giant acts of detonation.
We are no longer storming Normandy Beach in Call of Duty. We are no longer one of many against an overhwelming force. From what I saw of Black Ops, the transition of the franchise continues: We are the overwhelming force.

A teaser trailer featuring the multiplayer component of Call of Duty: Black Ops showcases a few additions to the franchise's popular online experience.

by Matt Clark
Earlier this week, Activision held the very first hands-on event for "Call of Duty: Black Ops" multiplayer. We already gave you some impressions from the game, including a rundown of all the new features, in our "Call of Duty: Black Ops" multiplayer preview, but there's still a lot more to share. Zombies Confirmed For Call Of Duty: Black Ops
By Stephen Totilo
Sep 29, 2010 07:52 AM
Confirming what it calls one of the "worst kept secrets" the makers of the next Call of Duty said today that you'll be able to shoot zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops in the game's four-player co-op mode.
The November—scheduled Black Ops is being made by Treyarch, the studio that tucked a zombie-shooting mode in its previous game, 2008's Call of Duty: World at War. The zombie mode was popular enough to spawn iPhone spin-offs.

Posted 10/1/10 1:31 pm ET
by Russ Frushtick
A few weeks ago, we posted a giant list of the customization features you'll be seeing in "Call of Duty: Black Ops." Despite it stretching over 5 pages in Word, it wasn't complete. Today we got a more detailed list of what players can do to their online persona in the form of a Multiplayer Customization trailer from Treyarch. There's a lot to take in, and you'll likely be pausing this video quite a few times to digest every nook and cranny.
