NCAA grants additional year of eligibilty for 2020 Spring Sports

Post by kapakahi »

Looks like the NCAA punted the details to each institution to make the tough decisions and work out the financial ramifications (i.e., the unintended consequences & impacts) for each of its respective Spring Sports teams (baseball, men's volleyball, softball, beach volleyball, etc. for UH).
Luckily for UH baseball, the 2020 roster had an unusually low number (just 3) of scholarship seniors (Hancock, Murray, Pouelsen)…..though a high number of draft-eligible junior starters.

Wonder what UH is going to do. Wisconsin is not going to give the seniors another year.

I hope they give them another year. A lot of attractive seniors play for the beach volleyball team.
