A top high school guard from San Diego has accepted a scholarship offer from the University of Hawaii basketball team.
Beon Ja Riley of Cathedral Catholic High told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser he will sign a 2020 letter of intent with the Rainbow Warriors. The NCAA’s early signing period begins Nov. 13.

Awesome get for Hawaii. Can truly play the 1-4 at a high D1 level. Excited for this recruit, and the Gerlefsun coming to UH seemed to seal the deal for them!

Solid get IMO. All around player that can do a little bit of everything. He'll be a load to handle once he puts the ball on the floor and goes hard to the rim. Hopefully he'll even grow another inch or two during his senior year.
