Recruit Hanna Helvig's sister. If Hanna stays with Hawaii she should be an awesome athlete by her senior year. Unless she's tabbed for the Olympic team.

Does Robyn Ah Mow give a good interview? The few times I've seen her before a camera either national or local (Big West TV), she usually gives just a few phrases back to the interviewer. There are just a few lines to practice no matter what question they ask even if they are specific questions like, "the whole team did a great job tonight" or "we had quite a few players that shined tonight and saved and help us regain our momentum." Even if they ask a specific question about Iosia or Helvig, these answers are a lot better than the ones I've been hearing.

Robyn doesn't say much. But at least when something slips out it's not the usual "coach speak".

The Hellvig sister is 14 years old.

But did she take Algebra II? Looking forward to seeing how Hawaii responds to Cal Poly with Van Sickle. She's not jumping as high as when she first returned but she seems to provide stability and calmness when she's in there. Okino and Choy had some great digs against UCSB.

Nice win against Cal Poly. Wondering if Rasmussen is coming back this year. She is still in a boot.

Did not watch Jolie at the beginning of the season but if its in a boot, chances are slim. Damn, that was an exciting game against Cal Poly. I think the broadcasting team of Kainoa Leahy and Chris Mclaughlin are the best play-by-play/color combination that Spectrum has as well as the sideline interviewer who interviewed the Hellvig family.

My guess is that her prospects aren't good. Still have to rehab before being cleared to practice and then to play.

Senior night in Hawaii is always the best in the nation for women's volleyball. All seniors contributed a lot but will be missing Iosia and Okino(?) Okino has fast hands on the digs and Iosia is a do it all but will miss her serves. Congrats to all seniors. Hope for bigger and better in the future.

This is the last group of players that were coached by Dave Shoji. Thank you ladies for all of your contributions and memories that you made for the Wahine program.

Missed one first teamer and star of the winners over CSUN, MAKENNA ROSS. Way to go lady! She can hit!

It was a great win against the Beach but I didn't hear Kamakawiwaole's "Over the Rainbow" in the background during the senior ceremonies. I thought this was the trademark in all senior nights?
