Wahine volleyball back in the top 25
Congrats on the victories last weekend. Back where they should be.

Coach Ah Mow's first real, full recruiting class is already paying dividends. Nice!

Re: Wahine volleyball back in the top 25
I was wondering where the Kyra Hanawahine comment came from in another post. I guess there is room for a Muggsy Bogues in volleyball. I kind of wonder how this team might do against a BYU type team. It's a real surprise and a good one at that.

I personally would put the +1 on the second part! But don't tell Mrs. Cats. Please.

Re: Wahine volleyball back in the top 25
any word on Rasmussen’s injury???
Re: Wahine volleyball back in the top 25
Guessing she's not close to coming back, otherwise she would've been one of the 14 on the travel roster. But no rush, the team should be able to compete well in conference play with or without her. Need Jolie at 100% come the home stretch of the season and NCAAs.

Re: Wahine volleyball back in the top 25
I didn't watch the conference games where they beat LB and CSUN. Would have thought they would have swept because of their opponents records but the games looked close. Can anybody who watched the games possibly explain why? Were the other teams well coached or the other teams better than their record indicated?
Re: Wahine volleyball back in the top 25
I got to watch bits and pieces of the game, and Hawaii definitely looked a little fatigued. Especially in the CSUN game, considering that was the second of a back-to-back. The Wahine had been on the road up to that point for I believe 12 games, after not having traveled to the mainland before that point. I don't think it's anything to worry about. I mean LBSU is 3-11, but they took a 11th ranked Florida team to 5 sets on the road, and lost the 5th set 19-17. Just glad the Wahine survived that long road trip with a 3-1 record.shrek2 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2019 8:25 am I didn't watch the conference games where they beat LB and CSUN.
