RIP Joy Minaai

Post by Irse »

Just found out that she passed away last week. She was a UH tennis player when I was there. I think she was the number one player for a couple of years. Didn't know her while we went to UH but later we went to the same church and she played on my softball team. Naturally, with her hand-eye coordination, she could hit. She also was a model and acted some. She was on couple of episodes of Hawaii 5-0 and did some commercials. You will be missed by many.

Shocking! Accident? Illness? She was still quite young.

I don't know. My friend didn't tell me and I didn't press it. I'll find out later. There are others on my old softball team that knew her more.

I didn't know her, but remember seeing her around at UH and knew she was the top tennis player on the team. Sounds like she was a wonderful woman. Way too young.
