I'm impressed watching Makenna Woodfolk play basketball as she seems to have the instinct not to throw the ball away and to be able to use both hands in dribbling and shooting. There is something that the stats don't show and that is the ability to play D-I basketball and she has it. I don't know why the Pac-12 passed on her but she seems to like she could have help some perennial power teams like Stanford or UW.

Did she gain an inch or two? She looked like the tallest player that UH has. I think she has WNBA possibilities.

Wahine are short this year. Woodfolk is the only big. But what they lack in height, IMHO they also lack in speed.

Oh, so what you're saying is they're not tall but they make up for it by being slow? Isn't the lady from Idaho still the center?

Should be exciting to watch this year then when the new slow break and inside game.

I only caught the last part of overtime with the Wahine against Nevada. How come Woodfolk only had 5 minutes played with 4 PF and 1 technical?

Thanks to Makenna for being a Wahine. Maybe she would consider returning for her senior year if there is someone who can take care of her baby while she is in school and playing basketball.
