Hawaii vs. San Jose State game thread

6-2 UH early. I tell you what, if they win all three here at home and wind up 12-2 to start the year, I won't complain. Let's go guys!

What a game by the 'Bows so far! 14-2 and a lot of fast breaks and dunks and SJSU can't buy one offensively. Hope they can keep it up.

Oral Roberts beating Valparaiso on the road won't hurt either in the RPI respect.

I tell you what, San Jose can't hold onto the ball, throw it in the ocean, rebound or defend the post. Not to take away from the 'Bows' effort, but they're still missing open shots and committing turnovers.

despite SJSU's mistakes, we still only have 27 points.

anyone else besides me have seen UTEP dominate fellow conference members so far

Yeah, they just murdalized Rice, but I don't think too many teams will win at UTEP. They may just go undefeated at home this season.

Pretty much total domination of the frontcourt of Hawaii in the first half but I wish the backcourt could pick it up a little bit. That's just nitpicking though, because up by 19 in a conference game is not a bad half by any means. Keep it up, UH.

yep, murdered Boise 91-77, Rice 96-67, and the once proud Tulsa 105-70.

hawaii leads 32-13 into halftime.

Hmmm...

I know UTEP has been dominating at home, but I think Hawaii can do well against them there. Maybe it's just overspeculation but I think Hawaii can slow the game down and pound them on the boards. UTEP is NOT a physical team. They're quick, but our guards are quick too...

Gosh... a nice win at UTEP could help us forget those early road losses. Oh... maybe I'm dreaming.

Damn SJSU! I picked final Hawaii 75 SJSU 50. Don't look like they gonna hit 50! There goes my chance of getting the helmet tonight... hehe... Don't they have boosters to help them buy baskets? Well, we not dong much better in the 2nd half either... Go 'Bows!

I must admit, listening to this game's making me sleepy. Not a good effort in the second half, but it appears as though it'll be good enough to win.

Plenty of time to improve before Thursday, but that FT % is dreadful and we may just have to live with that. Good night guys.

Yeah, SJSU is dreadful this year. At least their hot headed center gave me some chuckles.
