One line on the first week of OIA track performances stood out. Kalani sophomore Devin Nguyen ran a 13.94 to win the JV 110 meter high hurdles. When you go under 14 seconds, that is national class speed to me. I wonder where this ranks on the all-time Hawaii prep list. The fastest time at the state meet was a little over 14 seconds, but that only considers times at states. Have there been other sub-14.0 110 HH times turned in in the past?
Update, checked the Dyestat website.Nguyen’s time is currently No.2 in the nation for the sophomore class. Way to go!
