It's all but official that there won't be spring sports titles

This makes me feel bad for the seniors. Once they graduate, that's it. The HHSAA won't grant them another year as the NCAA might with spring athletes who are seniors. I know Punahou would've been the favorite to win state titles in Water Polo, Boys Volleyball, and maybe Baseball, but OIA schools will suffer just as much. Look at softball--that's one of the few sports that's had a majority of OIA champions. It is the most "OIA sport" there is. It also sucks that great athletes such as Koa Eldredge, Makana Murashige, Jack Deuchar, and Jordan-Deshawn Hepting will end their careers like this.

When the AD's canceled their June meeting, and said they would meet remotely, you can see where this is headed in terms of spring sports. At least some of the seniors can continue competing in college, but most kids won't be getting offers to continue playing beyond their senior high school year.
